Justice is long asleep and I am going to do the same since it has been a long and busy day with lots of things accomplished. I hope to start working on potty training soon and taking away his binkie.

Good luck with the potty training and the binky! Let us know what strategy works for getting rid of the binky. I've heard of leaving it out for the binky fairy and giving it to a baby but I'm really nervous about trying to do it! Bye bye binky!

My son Daniel had his pacifier all the time! About 2 months after he turned 2 I decided that was enough. We took them and threw them in the garbage (the ones we could find anyway). This was the same week as my best friend and future sister in laws wedding in which Daniel was the ring bearer. Surprisingly he was ok. He whined and it was a little harder to get him to go to bed, but overall it was fairly easy. Since then we have found a few of his old pacifiers in suitcases and such he would laugh and go throw them in the garbage because he is a "big boy and those are for babies." I guess I did not scar him to bad by taking them away cold turkey.
