In the month of May, I was invited to take a comment challenge hosted by Harriet . Of course, being a competitive mama, I accepted.

The challenge: You have 31 days to make 1,000 comments

I am so very thankful that Harriet took this initiative! I had so much fun making these comments and meeting new bloggers. So, now, I'm
part
icipating again for the month of June.

'So why
don't you?'

The challenge: You have 30 days to make 1,000 comments

I urge everyone to sign up to participate for the month of June, as well. Just click on the button below to go to
Harriet's blog, copy the code and place it on your side bar, sign up on mister linky, and comment away.

I don't think most bloggers realize the value that commenting brings. Increased traffic to our own blogs aside, commenting also allows for:

  • Meeting new friends
  • Stumbling across old friends
  • Increasing the sense of community
  • Inspiring new blogging topics
  • Making valuable connections
  • Widening our audience
  • Broadening our resources
  • Well, you get the picture. The list goes on and on.

Harriet offers an awesome award to place on your blog, once you have met the challenge. However, the real reward comes simply by meeting new people who will forever affect your life. These new-found friendships will be cherished for years to come.

Thank you, Harriet for inspiring all of us to reach out to our fellow bloggers. You will never know how endearing you have become to us all!

That's it! You have nailed it. :) It's really about discovering new ways of thinking in people, and making those connections along the way. This is when a person can make another blog more meaningful, by leaving their mark in thought. :)
