There’s a great new “linky” service available and I wanted to let you know about it. It’s called “MckLinky” – http://www.mcklinky.com/. After realizing the need for a new, reliable link-list capability, Brent Riggs and MckMama got together to create a free, easy to use linky service for all their blog friends.

MckLinky is a free links list feature that allows you to do include lists of other blog links like MckMama does on Not Me Monday. Some people call them “carnivals” or “memes” but you can use MckLinky any time you want your blog readers to leave a list of links on your blog. It’s simple, reliable and free.

Check it out here: http://www.mcklinky.com/

I have been playing catch up on a lot of things right now as I have not been feeling up to par. I wish that I was but I am not. Today tough I am feeling great and have been trying to catch up on a lot of things that I have not gotten done. Like for one clean little man's room, his laundry and of course he really needed a bath this morning so he got that too. He was getting pretty homelee looking but that was my fault for not doing it sooner. I wish that there were more hours in the day to get things done, and more time to enjoy my life, but there is not so I will have to make the most out of what we do have.

I am not sure what all I am going to do today but I plan on getting a lot done and having fun with little man at the same time.

I am happy to be having another little one, but I am going to also cherish this time with Justice since this time will be all that we have as just the two of us all day everyday. There will be two little ones for me to take care of and all that good stuff, which will also mean less time to get things done and sleep.

Kids lunch Box Cards: are a fun way to send something in your child's lunch to school. These cards are something that can be reused if the child remembers to bring them home with them. They are very colorful and have scratch off answers or true statements.
I got to review the mystical little people and eeeww, that's grosse and they were fun even for adults.

One card I will share as an example of the eeeww, that's grosse: A cockroach can live 9 days without it's head before it starves to death. eeeww, that's grosse but true.

On the back of the lunch box cards there is room for you to write your own personal note to your child too. What child would not want these in their lunch box to share with their friends while they eat?

One of my lucky readers will get a chance to win some lunch box cards of their own and in your entries please leave me your email address

Leave a comment letting me know which lunch box card you would like

Cheaper Than Therapy

My little man is still a baby at heart and I love it

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

I have been slacking on getting the house cleaned, Justice's laundry just about everything so today is going to be a day for catch up in every way. I am not looking forward to it but it is something that has to be done.Justice will be my helper and he will make the messes right behind me as I can cleaning them up, but that is part of being the mommy to my son.
This week I have had no time to get anything done and I am getting a little irritated of how our house looks and I know if I do not take care of it no one will.

I also need to try to figure out why the toilet will not flush oh wait I know that answer to that justice must have flushed something down there again, just what? I guess the toilet is going to have to come off again and turned upside down and hopefully what ever it is will come out. Boys are so much fun and into everything all the time.

Justice actually went down for his nap today with out a problem and I hope that he gets a good rest since he has been a little stinker this morning and into everything, I am used to it but I sure do get tired of picking up messes all the time or washing the floor ten times a day. This morning it was pancake mix all over the floor along with vanilla wafer cookies. What a mess and the floor still needs to be washed but I have not gotten that far yet today. I will go take care of that in a little while.

We are excited for the baby, but I am not sure how justice will do with the baby as he has been my only little one and now his attention is going to have to get shared. I am happy, nervous and a little scared to be a stay at home mommy of two little ones. What have I gotten myself into? Am I crazy?

Busy weekend

This weekend has been busy with a lot of drama. I hate drama but for some reason in my family there is a lot of it. We had a wonderful fathers day at my mom's for birthday parties and such. Justice had fun swinging and playing out side then we headed down to aaron's parents house for a little while. We had fun there too. Other than that my weekend with little man consisted of running around and getting things done.

Today we have been making our deliveries and now it is nap time. I have not got to do the things that I would like to do and get done but hopefully today I will get a lot of it done. I am not going to keep my fingers crossed on that though. It is just another day in my house with all the things that need to get done and are not getting done. I am used to it, but wish one day that would change.

What a day

So I have not been feeling well and have not really had an energy to play with my little man this past week, so I knew that something was up and that I have felt this way before and yes I have Justice is going to be a big brother and Adina a big sister again. I am totally excited and can't wait to have another little one in the house but before then I have some work to do. I need to get justice moved into the bigger bedroom and Adina in the smaller one since the little ones will be sharing the room, I would love to get the little man in his big boy bed and potty trained but we will see on that since he has no interest in either.

Ok so this week we have not done much other than hang around the house and play, I am ready to get out and do something fun, just not sure what yet. Yesterday justice did get to got o the neighbors house and play with the boys in the backyard under my supervision and he had a blast. Then we came home ate dinner and watched some cartoons and got ready for bed. Then when daddy got home we went back outside for a while and play, all and all it was a wonderful day and little man did not get into to many things and really did not make any messes for me to clean up which was nice.

Today we have been to the bank and took daddy a coffee at work. Other than that nothing to exciting going on in our neck of the woods today.

Faber- Castell is an environmentally responsible producer or premium quality children's art products. I got to review the art easel that is portable. This product is so cool and my two year old son absolutely loves it. It has a white board for him to draw on, a chalk board, and comes with paper too. The drawers contained colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, chalk and an eraser. This was one of the best inventions that Faber-castell has made. It is made perfectally to sit in the little ones laps in the car and at home.

All of the pencils are made from re-forested wood and faber-castell plants one million seedlings per year in their nursery. The earsers are all 100% PVC and latex free. There markers are also washable.

The travel easal is filled with products that have been safety tested and are non-toxic, perfect for the biginner artist, just graduating from crayons.

One of my lucky winners will have a chance to win something from Preschool product line, and it will be the winners choice.

First off visit
www.creativityforkids.com and let me know what you would choice if you one from the preschool line.

The past couple of days my stomach has not been feeling so well and I have been really tired. ME and Justice did go out side to play today, but now we are back in the house not doing a whole lot other than just relaxing. I will be doing some more reviews and giveaways hopefully tonight.

I am happy that I am blessed with my little man, but there are days like today that I would love to just crawl in a corner and not do a whole lot of anything, but my little man keeps me going and on my toes all day long and I do not get a moments brake. This is what I signed up for when I became a stay at home mom and I love every minuet of it, I am just tired and not feeling well today.

This weekend was packed ill where I had no time to do anything. Furday night was the dessert night and we sure ate a lot. It was a lot of in and justice had a blast too, but I personally ate so much that I did not feel so well the next morning, but it was fun and that was what mattered.
Saturday morning we had family pictures at justice's nap time. The first few went good then my son lost it, he was ready for bed and just cried, we got my whole family done before that of my mom and step dad and all the children and grand children. There is only 22 of us total but the photographer did an awesome job. He was very patiant and very good with all the little ones. We then headed home and got justice down for his nap, I had to leave to go and do the acs fundraiser which did not go so well so I came home around 8 instead of staying the night. I was wiped and ready for bed. Aaron had taken justice down to his parents to help build a wheel chair ramp. Justice got his own hammer and a bail in a board to hammer on. I guess he was a big help and I am sure it was cute to watch him.
Then Sunday my dad and family came down here for a bbq for a early fathers day since my dad works on fathers day. It was fun and justice got to play with Damian and auntie Jaryn. He had a lot of fun, he even went to bed with no hassle that night, I think the whole weekend wore him out as this morning he actually slept in and it was so nice. He was a pill for nap though he went down at 11 and finally fell asleep around 1 and got up at 3, so now we will see how bed time goes tonight since he never sleeps that late. Today has been a day that I have done nothing and I don't plan to do anything other than lounge around the house and watch some movies with my little man.

Summer is my favorite time of the year to sit outside get a tan and just hang out, but ever since I had Justice I was scared to do so. I did not want the sun in his eyes and I did not want his head to get burned since he has fine blondish brown hair. I have always been wondering what to do since every time I have bought little man sun glasses or a hat he would not wear it or he would break the glasses in the first 5 minutes.

Baby Banz Inc carries a full line for children and baby's and they are 100% UVA/ UVB protection. The baby banz eye wear are made out of a durable and safe polycarbonate frame and lenses. They have a comfortable neoprene band that adjusts to your child's head. They also come in many colors. We got the camo since daddy is a hunter and I just really like camo. These glasses are cute and are a good way to keep your little ones eyes happy in the sun. Baby Banz also has a 6 month limited warranty on their glasses, so if they break your covered. They are also BPA and Phthalate free.

Baby Banz eye wear and sun hats range from birth to 5 years old and come in over 12 cool colors. There is a style and color for every child out there.

Baby Banz
Sun Hats are just as wonderful and a must have too. They offer added protection form the sun's rays with a board brim to cover not only the head but also the ears which get burned so easily. They also shade the nose, cheeks and necks of our little ones.

The hats are machine washable, built in band that adjusts when the child grows and has a UPF 50+ rating.
In my house the hats and the glasses are a must have.

Visit usa.babybanz.com to check out all the colorful stylish glasses for your child today.

One lucky reader will get to win a pair of baby banz of their own (up to 19.99)

Visit baby banz and let me know what glasses you would choose

The FlameDisk, a charcoal substitute, is a safer, more convenient way for moms to grill out—especially on a tight schedule or budget. Unlike charcoal, the FlameDisk lights immediately and lasts roughly 45 minutes( that is what the package says, but they lasted 1 hour and a half both times) before quickly burning out and cooling. This product is one hundred percent recyclable and it leaves no mess like the charcoal would.
The FlameDisk are the size of a small charcoal bbq and they are light, perfect for camping, tail gateing or as we used them in the driveway. They retail at $4.99 and it is well worth the money.
The chicken that we cooked ont he flame disk was wonderful, evenly cooked and tasted awesome. It had the bbqed flavor with out the hassle of charcoal. The steak also turned out just as wonderful. I am not a person who would bbq with out my husband doing it, but with the flame disks I would.

Tonight is our first dessert night. We do pot roast night, bbq night, fire night and movie night, but tonight is the dessert night where we have a ton of friends coming over and everyone is bringing a dessert. We are going to sit outside eat a ton of dessert (get fat) and have a fire, it should be a blast and I hope it is the first of many. We have a lot of friends coming over so I am sure that we will not feel so good by the end of the night because of course you have to try everything or that would be rude. Justice will have fun because he will be up for some of it and then he will be off to bed.

This morning we got up at 4 o'clock in the morning because Justice had puckies on and he wanted to be changed. I changed him but then he wanted to cuddle so we layed on the couch and cuddled until 6:00 in the morning. He slept but I did not. We then got up and got in the shower and took off to run our errands and got our things done that needed to be done.

We are home now and Justice is down for his nap and I am going to get the house cleaned and ready for tonight.

Today we hung around the house and got somethings done here since I will be doing a cancer fundraiser all weekend with my cookie lee. Justice made more messes than I already had but that is what my son does best for me. We did leave a couple of times to get avon delivered but other than that it was a stay at home day. Once aaron got home I had to run to the mall to get a new adapter for justice's dvd player because his stopped working and he likes to watch it when we are in the car. Then I had to run to office depot to make copies for this weekend. Now I am home tired and ready to relax. Daddy got little man down to bed with out any noise but that is the way it is when only one of us are home to put him down, if we both are home then it is a never ending process.
I am now waiting for Aaron to get back with dinner since I did not cook today and it is 8:04 and I am hungry and I could not call when I was out since justice put my blackberry in the toilet the other day so it does not work any more. Tomorrow we will be waiting at home all day for fedex for my new blackberry and since I have to sign for it I need to not leave so that I do not miss them because I am lost with out my phone.

Care Bears: Tell-Tale Tummies

My son had never watched Care Bears until I was asked to review this movie. He asks to watch Care Bears now. Care Bears: Tell-Tale Tummies comes with eight never seen before released episodes for the all-new adventures among the clouds and rainbows of Care-a-lot. this DVD includes themes of emotional intelligence that helps kids develop and are mom friendly. The lessons that Care Bears:Tell -Tale Tummies include are honesty, integrity, and telling the truth. The episodes on this DVD and some show highlights are:

  • The Tell-Tale Tummy:
  • Oopsy, the Hero:
  • Bumbleberry Jammed:
  • Desperately Seeking Mr. Beaks:
  • King of the Gobblebugs:
  • Bad News:
  • Tour de Farce:
  • No-Snow Day:
I loved care bears as a child and learned wonderful lessons back then so I am happy to see that they are still making these wonderful movies that are entertaining, but yet also teaches them good things to do and be.

The DVD features Direct-Play, so that children can play the DVD without the assistance of a parent. It is available starting today, June 9th, for the suggested retail price of $14.98. It has an 88 minute running time.

Log Cabin has reformulated their syrup by replacing high fructose corn syrup with real sugar and let me tell you it is wonderful. I am not a huge syrup fan, but this is a must have in our house not only do I like it but my two year old whom loves pancakes will go to the cupboard and will grab Log Cabin for his pancakes over the other syrups in there.
Log cabin has been around since 1887. I have had log cabin syrup before they reformulated it and it is better tasting now that it is natural sugars and not high fructose corn syrup.

Here are some recipes to try with this wonderful syrup:
Apple Pecan Baked Pancake
1/2 c. favorite pancake mix
2 tbsp. butter- (melted)
1 c. Granny Smith apple- (peeled and sliced)
1/3 c. pecans- (chopped)
3 c. Log Cabin Syrup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon- (ground)

Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare pancake mix according to the package directions and set aside. Pour melted butter in 9" pie plate. Place apple slices in bottom of pie plate, sprinkle cinnamon and pecans and drizzle syrup over apples, carefully pour batter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until top springs back when touched, Loosen edges and invert onto serving plate. Cut wedges and serve with warm maple syrup and or fresh apple butter. Serves 4 to 6. Good served with sausage links.

Two of my lucky readers will get to win log cabin syrup of their own:

First let me know what you would use it on.

Belly Bar

Belly bars are wonderful, they taste great and give you everything that you need while you are breasting feeding, pregnant and before you become pregnant. They are a good alternative in my mind to having to take the vitamins when you can eat something that will make your mouth water and make you want more. It is a snack and a vitamin all in one.
I am not pregnant but I ate the chews which are wonderful and packed full of flavor, the bars taste like a chocolate bar and the shakes are to die for. I even made my husband try them and he loved them too. This is something that I will have in my house to keep us full of the vitamins that are needed when you become pregnant which is something that we would like to do, so why not start now.
Belly bars are manufactured by NutraBella, They are packed with key prenatal nutrients including iron, folic acid, calcium, protein and omega-3 DHA, Bellybar products are a convenient and mouth-watering way for expectant and breastfeeding moms to get the vitamins and minerals they need, while enjoying an indulgent treat with out having to take the daily vitamins.

They offer many Bellybar products of wholesome and delectable snacks and drinks to nourish women who are pregnant, new mothers, and moms-to-be including:

Not much new

Today was one of those days that I did not want to get out of bed at all, but I did and I got to hang out with little man all day and my friend Karen came down and hung out with us. Justice sure likes Karen and they played together today and he gave her hugs and kisses. I love when my son is so lovey just wish sometimes he was more lovey to me and less of a stinker but he takes after me in that way so I guess I can not complain that much. I am going to keep this short because I need to go work on my avon since I did not do it today and I need to work on cookie lee. Post more tomorrow and some new giveaways and reviews. Happy Monday.

Today was very long and tiring. Justice was overally tired even though he had a three hour nap and was very whinny and would not listen to me not matter what I said. He is in bed now and I have not heard him which is good because he needed sleep. I noticed today that he was having an allergic reaction to his diapers since they were not huggies because walmart was out the other day so I got something else. Well stupid mommy you should know better I have had to deal with this once before. So I ran out for what I thought would be a quick trip to get little man some huggies, I ended up having to go to three different stores before someone had his size and not only that I wound up at kmart and they only had one case, what is up are we having a diaper shortage. I am glad that the day is almost over and I am ready to go to bed and get a good night sleep and be in a better mood in the morning to go to church and then to my mom's house and then to my dad's it will be a long day but a good one.

What to do

Not sure what to do, Today is one o those days that I need to get a lot of things done to try to make some more money for my family and I know that Cookie Lee is what is going to keep me home with my son, but I am not sure just how to get people to see the benefit with cookie lee. I would love to promote again this month, but I need to get some others interested in doing what I am doing and where in the states.

Ok on another note, Justice this morning got a hold of my cover up and covered the bathroom, doors, hall way floor, the chair in the living room what a mess and that stuff does not want to come off things very well. It was stunned of how well that stuff stays and will not come off. I need to quit laying on the couch in the morning because that is when he decides that it is time to get into things and make messes, so on one hand it was my fault but on the other hand I wish the little man would stop being a stinker and making so many messes for me to make, I have gotten most of it cleaned up and I will work on the rest a little later today, I needed to take a break and make some phone calls to my family whom I call everyday to say hi and make sure that everything is alright.

Justice this morning helped me pick out his clothes for the day and he wanted his shirt with the hosicle (motorcycle) like mommy and daddy's. He was so proud that when we went to aaron' s work today that he had to show daddy his hosickle and let daddy know that it is hot, (he thinks that motorcycles are always hot that way he does not touch one when it really is).

I think I should clean house today and find something fun for me and Justice to do today since it is not so hot outside. Thank goodness I like the warmth but not when it is 90, that is just too hot for me and makes me just want to lay around all day and do nothing and Justice did not like the heat either. It made him grumpy and winny just like his momma.

In the month of May, I was invited to take a comment challenge hosted by Harriet . Of course, being a competitive mama, I accepted.

The challenge: You have 31 days to make 1,000 comments

I am so very thankful that Harriet took this initiative! I had so much fun making these comments and meeting new bloggers. So, now, I'm
part
icipating again for the month of June.

'So why
don't you?'

The challenge: You have 30 days to make 1,000 comments

I urge everyone to sign up to participate for the month of June, as well. Just click on the button below to go to
Harriet's blog, copy the code and place it on your side bar, sign up on mister linky, and comment away.

I don't think most bloggers realize the value that commenting brings. Increased traffic to our own blogs aside, commenting also allows for:

  • Meeting new friends
  • Stumbling across old friends
  • Increasing the sense of community
  • Inspiring new blogging topics
  • Making valuable connections
  • Widening our audience
  • Broadening our resources
  • Well, you get the picture. The list goes on and on.

Harriet offers an awesome award to place on your blog, once you have met the challenge. However, the real reward comes simply by meeting new people who will forever affect your life. These new-found friendships will be cherished for years to come.

Thank you, Harriet for inspiring all of us to reach out to our fellow bloggers. You will never know how endearing you have become to us all!

Today was a day outside in the water all day since it was way to hot to sit in the house. Justice had so much fun and one of my friends came over and played with us. My yard looks flooded but it is ok, it was all in the name of fun. I am not a big person when it comes to water for some reason I do not like it and never really have but who cares my son does so I do what it takes to keep him happy. I also do not like the heat it makes me tired, grumpy and gives me headaches, but there is not much that I can do about it. I wish it was only 75 degrees all the time but washington can never keep the same temp. and it is either too cold or too hot.

Justice is wiped today from the heat and all the playing, but it is worth the fun. Hopefully he will sleep in but I am sure that will not happen

Justice decided to cover the kitchen in calamine lotion.

I got the chance to review some awesome shoes for my son whom is really hard to buy shoes for since he has big wide feet. See kai run shoes are the best shoes that I have found for my little man. They let his feet breathe and they are not too thight across the top of his little fat feet.

They’re soft, flexible, and supportive…the type of shoe that my little man needs on his feet. The soles are rubber and they are easy for little ones to walk in and if you look at the bottom they say cute things. Here are a few features about the shoes that make them perfect for a child’s developing feet:

  • Very flexible soles are healthy for developing feet.
  • Wide opening and toe box accommodate even the chubbiest little feet.
  • Velcro closure allows for adjustable fit and easy on and off.
  • Leather lining is breathable and durable.
  • Padded collar adds comfort and helps our shoes stay on little feet.
  • Quality Construction
  • Leather used for our footwear meets the most stringent available U.S. and international guidelines.
  • Sheepskin leather uppers are butter-soft and more durable by weight than cow leather used by many other brands.
  • Durable construction and rubber sole stand up to heavy play indoors and out.
All of the See kai run and smaller lines are cute but I was able to review the Jayce line and let me tell you they are to die for.If will continue to get these shoes for my son since they are something that he likes and I know that they are going to work well on his feet.

The shoes run from 17.00 dollars to around 40.00 but they are worth every penny that you will spend on them. The site is always coming out with new shoes to so to See kai run and check out what they have.

One of my lucky readers will have a chance to win a pair of see kai run shoes of their own from the see kai run line or smaller.
Head over to the site and sign up for their email. Then come back here and let me know you have done so.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I did not stay home to do and do nothing since it was so warm outside

I did not let Justice run around in a diaper most of the day since he was so sweaty

HE did not jump in his crib for another to keep him entertained while I did try to get some clothes put away in his room today

We did not take a drive to the bank just because my truck has ac and my house does not.

I am not grumpy right now because of the weather

Justice is not refusing to go to bed once again and throwing everything out of his crib and telling me he has owies just so that I will come in his room

I am not sitting in my room thinking I might go to bed because I am grumpy and do not want to deal with anything right now

Ok so I am not smart enough today to get random org. to work on this page but through random org. the winner is
